Hi. I’m Rebecca Hanchett, and I’m a Kentuckian. Most of my life has been spent in Lexington, Ky., although I bounced around a few central and southern Kentucky counties as a small-town journalist in my 20s.
un-Tucked was born in the summer of 2020 after I retired from a 23-year career as a publicist for Kentucky state lawmakers. I wanted to continue writing about my state but in my own unique voice, outside the bounds of political news and speechwriting.
